Welcome to Catery.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Catery mobile application, website, and related services ("Platform").

By creating an account or using Catery, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Catery

Catery is a marketplace that connects customers with catering companies, food vendors, and event-service providers ("Vendors").

Catery allows users to discover services, submit booking requests, communicate with Vendors, and manage bookings through the Platform.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Catery is a marketplace and technology platform and is not the provider of the catering, food, venue, or event service booked through a Vendor.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or making a booking.

By using Catery, you confirm that:

3. Your Catery Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for activities carried out through your account.

You must notify Catery if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Catery may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

4. Browsing Vendors

Catery provides information about Vendors and their services through the Platform.

Although Catery makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information, Vendor information may change.

The Vendor is responsible for the accuracy of the information, prices, availability, and services they provide.

5. Booking Requests

When you submit a booking request, the request does not necessarily mean that the booking has been confirmed.

A booking becomes confirmed only when Catery and/or the Vendor confirms the booking according to the applicable booking process.

You are responsible for providing accurate:

Incorrect or incomplete information may affect the Vendor's ability to fulfill the booking.

6. Payments

Where Catery processes payment for a booking, the customer may be required to pay the applicable amount through the Platform.

The total amount may include:

The applicable amount will be displayed before payment where reasonably possible.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers.

7. Vendor Payments

Where applicable, Catery may collect payment from the customer on behalf of the Vendor.

Catery may deduct applicable commissions, fees, refunds, or other amounts according to the applicable agreement with the Vendor before transferring the remaining amount to the Vendor.

The Vendor's payment arrangements do not change the customer's obligation to pay the amount shown at checkout.

8. Prices

Prices displayed on Catery may be provided by Vendors and may be subject to change.

The price applicable to a confirmed booking is the price communicated and accepted as part of that booking, subject to any clearly stated additional charges.

Any additional charges should be communicated to the customer before they become payable where reasonably possible.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the specific booking, Vendor policy, and applicable Catery policy.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific booking:

Catery may review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

The cancellation terms applicable to a booking may be displayed before or during the booking process.

10. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors are responsible for providing the services described in their confirmed booking.

This includes responsibility for:

Catery does not control the day-to-day operations of Vendors.

Customers are responsible for:

Customers must not use Catery to engage in fraudulent, illegal, abusive, or harmful activities.

Catery does not guarantee that a Vendor will remain available for a specific date until the booking has been confirmed.

14. Service Issues and Complaints

If you experience an issue with a booking, please contact Catery as soon as possible.

We may communicate with the Vendor to investigate and resolve the issue.

Where appropriate, Catery may facilitate communication, refunds, credits, or other resolutions according to the circumstances and applicable policies.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Catery shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from a Vendor's services or from circumstances outside Catery's reasonable control.

23. Changes to These Terms

Catery may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are material, we may notify users through the Platform or another appropriate communication method.

Your continued use of Catery after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
